At some point in our lives, we all bump into a person who alters our life, which makes us feel important, and for them, we are always ready to face every challenge coming on the way. We think about them, want to be with them, all of our plans start and end with them. We want to become a better person because of them. Some of us are lucky to grapple onto that feeling, sticking with that person for the rest of our lives. However, many people can’t have a strong grip on the feeling, which could’ve made it long-lasting, making mistakes that make that right person go away. Sometimes it isn’t our mistake at all; even then, that person leaves us giving excuses for how they get bored or tired of dating us. In such situations, we try to move on and start our search for finding love again. No matter what, we should keep one thing in mind that not all of us are meant to find true love right away. Some may find it in their first relationship, but many don’t, not even their entire life!
As every person has his unique wants and needs, we all have a different perception of love and relationship. Some people think it’s our only chance to live so we should try everything, while the others believe in finding their soul mates. When we talk about love, we cannot say it can happen only once. You can love two different people, but you cannot expect it to be identical.
One of the most famous sayings, “True Love Never Die: It gets stronger with every passing day,” is often quoted by many new couples, which is quite comforting, but is it true? It is very soothing and pleasing to think that you’ll have a feeling that will get more reliable day by day. But in this divorce based abandoning society, long-lasting, trustworthy relationships seem to be absurd. Some people think they’ll either find love or not, but in reality, true love is something you’ve fought for, chosen over everyone, not something simply found.
The Actual Form Of “True Love”
Our generation thinks that true love is something you read in fairy tales. A prince charming will come riding on a black horse. Taking the princess away by accomplishing the king’s challenge, living happily-ever-after. In reality, that isn’t the case. It takes two committed people struggling for each other for a long time, no matter how worst the situation gets.
In my opinion, finding true love means finding the person who loves you coming out of his comfort zone, turning his paths, mending his ways just to see the smile on your face without caring about the situation he’s going through. Once you find that love, it is all your responsibility to give him everything he is giving you as it is a two-way path, just like every other relationship. You can not merely expect the person to put in all of his efforts and give him nothing in return. There are several things you should do to grab the right person for the rest of your life, which include:
- Overcoming any obstacle coming on your way.
- Working to be selfless even when it gets hard.
- Being profoundly committed and honest to your partner. NEVER LIE.
- Invest time, money, and energy in your partner.
True Love Never Dies
Many people think that this statement has become impractical in the era we are living in, but every time I see an elderly coming walking hand in hand on the sidewalk. Or a middle-aged man, making dinner reservations for his wife without any special event. It is quite simple to think that they must’ve found their true love years ago. But, they haven’t got this love because they find it but because they work hard for it. They have reached this point because of passing every test of time. They have faced every challenge together, seeing the best and the worst days together, which may have brought them closer like the way they are together.
I cannot claim to be an expert in love, but there’s one thing I know that every person is born to love and to be loved. It’s our choice to do what we’re meant to be or fight against our instincts. We all come to that stage of our lives where we have to make this decision, and we have to choose whether to love or not. And I can promise that if you choose love to be a part of your life permanently, it becomes something to be worked towards day and night. In your happy days and worst times and you cannot achieve anything more amazing and pure than this.
