Easy Desserts to Make at Home

  1. The Mouthwatering Oreo fluff

Oreo fluff is guaranteed to stand out on any occasion. It is also a perfect snack for your midnight cravings.

Oreo fluff has literally only 4 ingredients; instant vanilla pudding, lots and lots of Oreos, a few mini marshmallows, and some cool whip.

It’s perfect for the summer holidays (or any holidays) and birthday parties. This recipe is extremely versatile and there are so many ways to put it together. It can also be made sugar-free (which is ideal for diet freaks). Basic instructions would be;  beat the dry pudding mix with the cream cheese until it’s smooth. Slowly add milk, stir in cool whip, Oreos, and marshmallows. Cover and chill for 3,4 hours and it’s ready to devour!

  1. The Easy PeasyLemon, Meringue!

This apparently simple looking pie is actually loaded with flavor and delicious energy. Lemon meringue is an elegant dessert suited for all occasions. Ingredients would be frozen pie crust, egg yolks, cornstarch, sugar, lemon juice, lemon zest, butter, and of course the meringue (which you can also make at home with cornstarch, granulated sugar, and cream of tartar) The simple directions would be; blind bake (which means to bake anything without filling) the pie crust, prepare the lemon filling by whisking the egg yolks and adding cornstarch, cook the mixture for up to 4 minutes, whip the meringue topping, heat it, and then scoop it into the hot filling into the pre-baked pie shell. Bake the pie for (preferably) 20 minutes until it is toasty brown on the top. The lemon meringue pie is ready to be served (or wolfed down, depends upon your patience level).

  1. Crispy Nutella Stuffed Churro Cookies

Stuffed churro cookies are as easy as they are tasty. With their chocolatey goodness and a simple recipe, they are the best thing that could happen to your weekend plans (or any plans). Ingredients are pie crust, ground cinnamon sugar (the best part), butter, and cream cheese (optional).

Cut round pie crust pieces, then place a little bit of caramel and Nutella in the middle, cover with one more round pie crust, then bake until golden brown. After the cookies are cool, fill the top with melted butter and coat with cinnamon sugar. The heavenly churro cookies are ready to eat up. (and share, don’t forget to share)

  1. The Ravishing Blueberry Muffins

There is nothing that can cheer up a bad day more than muffins. And the best kind of muffin is the fresh Blueberry Muffins. (I might or might not have a bias)

Blueberry muffins can be prepared with just a few ingredients; Butter, sugar, eggs, yogurt, flour, buttermilk, and of course, the blueberries.

Preheat oven, line muffin liners, combine the flour, sugar, buttermilk, baking powder, and fill the muffin cups, sprinkle with all the good stuff, bake for 25 minutes, and voila! your tender, yummy blueberry muffins are ready to consume.

  1. The Rich Chocolate Fondue

Do you know what can fix almost any emotional crisis?

A big bowl of smooth chocolate, a.k.a chocolate fondue, which is not to mention, super easy. And the ingredients are available just in your refrigerator.

Whipping cream, semisweet chocolate, hazelnut, vanilla, and butter. Don’t forget the dippers! (large marshmallows, cookies, or fresh fruits)

You have to combine the chocolate and the whipping cream in a medium-sized cooker or saucepan, low-heat it until the chocolate is melted. That’s it. Serve the fondue with the dippers of your choice. Leftovers can be preserved in the fridge and rejoiced for up to 3 days!
