Restricted by the walls, With the windows closed Living with a desire, To feel the rain, the pours. The lively eyes, Once filled with light Now erupts tears, In the darkest of nights. The beauty within, Has started to fade. Terrified of the thought, When the face would get pale. The voices no longer reach The depths of the ocean. Where once, the soul, Felt the reflections of the sun. The soul strives for joy But all it gets is pity. As it is confined, For another eternity.
