Strange Childhood Memories We All Had

Childhood is the most fantastic and carefree time of our life. We do mistakes that turn into a nightmare or everlasting memory. In this learning period, we all have made some awesome memories that give us eternal peace and it has taught us how beautiful these days were.

Even though we can’t get our childhood back but we can still remember those beautiful days and their sweet memories.

Sleeping On Couch

We all do remember that whenever in childhood we sleep on the couch while watching our favorite cartoons then next morning we do always find ourselves on the bed with our blankets on, Some of us might have assumed that maybe some fairy has done that.

 Although years later we actually realized that our mom’s dad was that hidden fairy who made sure that we get the best sleep in our rooms.

Unlatched Gate

Usually, there was always an unlatched gate at our home which slams at night may be due to the air but it seems to be a horrifying thing to us as if there was someone knocking or trying to open the door.

Supernatural Power

 We all do have fantasized about the supernatural in our childhood. Some of us might even have tried to dress like them and tie our mothers scarf around our neck like wings.

Love For Candy

As kids, we all were madly in love with candy, even when our mother warns us that we can get a cavity because of this sweet monster. Most of us might have stored some stock of candy in our school bags or drawers.

Never Ending Pranks

Kids are the biggest pranksters we all know; we all must have done several pranks in our childhood too that includes locking our siblings in the washroom or switching off the light button when they are in there.

Nightmare

Most of the people must have experienced nightmares in their childhood frequently and because of that, they don’t want to sleep alone and want someone around all the time.

Favorite Cartoon

Waking up on Sunday morning, brushing our teeth as fast as we can, and grasping the remote by sitting on the most comfortable couch to tune into our favorite cartoon was the best memory we all had and we actually miss it now.

Result Day

This is the day when we had anxiety on top of our heads, no matter how good we did in our exams. But after all the stress when we get that report card then mixed emotions are seen among people.

The one that has A+ takes the report card cheerfully while others feel more anxious about how they will face their parents now.

Handmade Cards

When life was not so dependent on smartphones then at that time we make gift cards for our friends to give them on eid or birthday occasions.

 Doing things by our own hands has some different sort of happiness; it can’t be replaced by a single text message.

Playing With Friends Outside

From breaking someone’s glass window to jumping on other’s roofs without taking their permission we have all grown up. Sometimes we have done harm to ourselves too by breaking our own bone due to unnecessarily jumping or having scratches due to the same cause.

Story Time

Enjoying your favorite storybook with dad was the best part of the day. After dinner eagerly waiting to be on the bed and a book with colorful pictures and chatting with dad summarizes the whole day.

It’s the era of life where we all were a blank piece of paper and we did adopt every habit of our elders that we saw happening around us.

Now we never realize something’s specialty either it was left behind or we lost it somewhere. In childhood, we want to grow and be elder like others because at that time we assume that being a full-grown person is a beautiful feeling and we will enjoy it.

All those days are gone now and now we realize that these were the days when life was simple and beautiful, Someone who always remembers his childhood never becomes old at heart.
